The Program Manager for the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program holds a pivotal role in tackling the overdose crisis among Black residents in Harris County through grassroots initiatives, education, and prevention programs. Demonstrating exemplary leadership, they oversee all campaign aspects, organizing and executing community outreach and engagement efforts. Spearheading mass educational awareness initiatives and prevention activities, they disseminate crucial information on harm reduction strategies and available resources. Leveraging expertise in public health and community engagement, the Program Manager develops and implements strategic plans to maximize impact and reach, ensuring effective coordination of stakeholders and resources. Their leadership drives the mission to combat the opioid epidemic and save lives within Harris County's Black community.
The Mentorship Coordinator oversees the development & implementation of school-based youth mentoring program(s), which mentors with youth in a one-to-one relationship.
Assist potential students applying for courses, training, or education at our facility. The ideal candidate must understand policies and training programs well enough to provide quality advice and counseling to applicants, converting them to our database. The candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with applicants and students. The Community Based Doula instructor is responsible for managing our community-based doula program to ensure high quality, evidence-based practices that are being taught and implemented. Engagement Coaches are responsible for improving the attendance and relationships of chronically absent and at-risk youth. Engagement Coaches will use case management and systems coordination to monitor caseload information.

The purpose of a health advocate is to serve as a supportive and knowledgeable resource for individuals seeking assistance in navigating the complex healthcare system and making informed decisions about their health and well-being. Health advocates work to empower and guide individuals in accessing appropriate healthcare services, understanding their medical conditions, and advocating for their rights within the healthcare system.
The Healthcare Instructor provides instruction over the afternoon EKG and evening STNA classes, with the flexibility of relieving and assisting with Phlebotomy classes in case of illness. Duties include planning lessons, monitoring skills, and assessing student progress on an ongoing basis, and collecting, recording, and reporting all necessary information related to students promptly.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for leading the program’s Wellness Coaches within our diabetes management program that assists members of the community with work/life balance and other parts of their lives that affect their wellness. The Program Coordinator and Wellness Coaches aids participants in using a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM), building a positive mindset, diabetes self-management and stress management, as well as in creating and achieving long-term health objectives, and provides guidance as needed during their journey toward well-being.
The Success Coach collaborates with the Program Manager to implement the school’s academic and behavioral programs, addressing the challenges posed by today’s diverse student population. The Engagement Supervisor actively cooperates with the school leader, academic counselor, staff, students, and parents to foster a positive school climate.
