The education division works directly with clients to provide solutions to develop manage and expand charter schools. Our educational philosophy is based on the belief that all students will learn when they are taught by caring and competent teachers.

We believe that

instructional practices and curriculums that are both rigorous and relevant will address the diverse learning needs of most students we serve.

Those effective instructional practices must also be enhanced through strong relationships that exist between students, teachers, and other stakeholders.

The Academy for Urban Scholars (AUS) mission is to produce work ready, college-ready, caring, articulate, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners, who are socially responsible, resilient, and productive citizens in an increasingly diverse global community and economy that leads to graduation.

The AUS model is designed to fit each student’s educational needs.

Students are prepared to successfully complete state mandated tests. The curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Competency Based Model. The AUS focus is to ensure that each student who graduates is prepared for one of the 4 E’s: Enrollment, Employment, Enlistment, Entrepreneurship. Teachers integrate culturally-specific historical contributions to humanity, world civilization and the global economy.
