Community Based Doula Instructor
The Community Based Doula instructor is responsible for managing our community-based doula program to ensure high quality, evidence-based practices that are being taught and implemented. In addition, the instructor will assist in community outreach and marketing efforts, and target local community resources, and hospitals.
Roles and responsibilities
Provide instruction starting February 2024
Follows curriculum set by the college.
Keeps an accurate record of the student’s attendance and grades.
Build relationships with community organizations, local health departments, and community-based clinic practices to better serve our students.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Culturally competent
Computer skills
Lived Experiences
Experienced professional, fostering teamwork by working cooperatively and effectively with others,
Intellectually nimble, will take initiative as a self- starter.
